With a lot of success, Nicaraguan Red Cross with the financial support of the Red Crescent of Kuwait, carried out on October 22 and 23 of the current year, the delivery of humanitarian aid consisting of 600 food packages, personal hygiene kit and more than 300 kitchen kits to families of the Living Creek, Book, Kiwastara and Cocal communities of the North Waspam Region.

A relevant issue that should be noted is that with this humanitarian operation, it is the second time that these communities have benefited within the framework of the alliance between the Kuwait Red Crescent and us. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Nicaraguan Red Cross and Kuwait Red Crescent, for being one of the humanitarian institutions that has been closest to them after they were affected by these two natural disasters.

This humanitarian mission was executed by a technical team from the National Headquarters, with the accompaniment of Volunteers from the Puerto Cabezas Branch.
