This Sunday, June 19, 2022, the Nicaraguan Red Cross (CRN), celebrates the signing of the Collaboration Agreement with the Iranian Red Crescent, to establish aid between both Societies, for a period of 4 years (2022 to 2025).

The purpose of this cooperation agreement is to develop education and training activities and implement joint actions that further strengthen the association and friendly relations between the parties, to contribute to the proper development of the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. Red Moon.

«Through this agreement, the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran intends to cooperate in the exchange of knowledge in different fields, including disaster response, organizational development of our National Society, which contribute to the strengthening of our voluntary programs, for the good sustainability of the different humanitarian actions that we carry out in the country, as auxiliaries of the public powers”, said Dr. Oscar Gutiérrez, President of CRN.

For his part, Dr. Pirhosein Kolivand said, “We are happy to support the people of Nicaragua through the sister Nicaraguan Red Cross, being an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment and closeness of our mutual cooperation in the different initiatives in favor of of whom we work. We are happy to sign this agreement that strengthens our friendship, solidarity and commitment”.

The signing was given during the attendance of our authorities at the XXlll General Assembly and Council of Delegates in Geneva-Switzerland, by the President of the Iranian Crescent, Dr. Pirhosein Kolivand and Dr. Oscar Gutiérrez, National President of the Red Cross Nicaraguan.
